My PGL journey started with adhesive tapes back in 1986, working at DANCO. It wasn’t long before I set out on my own, which led to the formation of Pomona Group in 2004—working out of a barn in Kumeu with a clear vision and a lot of passion.
We began with Selfgard and quickly added Pomona Tapes to our offering, building strong relationships with local distributors and end users alike. Over time, that small business has grown into PGL, with distribution centres in both Henderson and Christchurch, and a nationwide footprint.
Today, PGL brings together four specialist brands—Pomona, Danco, Selfgard, and the recent addition of National Packaging—to deliver a comprehensive, customer-focused solution for New Zealand’s adhesive, packaging and protection needs.
